Tickets, Comments & Notifications

Available on the Web Dashboard, Desktop, and Mobile app.

Creating and editing a ticket

A ticket has a title, a rich-text description, a project, issue type, priority, tags, and an assignee. The description field (and comments — see below) uses the same formatting toolbar: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, bulleted/numbered lists, inline code, code blocks, headings, and links, with a character counter so you know when you’re approaching the length limit. On Mobile, you can dictate a description instead of typing, using real on-device speech-to-text.

Finding tickets

Switch between a sortable list view and a kanban board (Web Dashboard and Desktop) where dragging a card between columns changes its status. Filter by project, status, priority, issue type, assignee, or tags, or search free text — on Mobile, the same filters (minus tags-as-a-column) are available on the ticket list.

History and reporting

Every status and assignment change is recorded on the ticket’s history/audit trail, so you can always see who changed what and when. Delete a ticket with a confirmation step to avoid accidental loss, or export a downloadable PDF activity report for record-keeping or sharing outside Logtryl.

Comments and mentions

Every ticket has a threaded comment section supporting the same rich text and attachments as the description. Type @ in a description or comment to mention a teammate — autocomplete suggests matching names, and a mention renders highlighted once posted.

Notifications

You’re notified when someone mentions you, assigns you a ticket, comments, or changes a status. The in-app notification center lists all of these with an unread badge counter — mark individual notifications read, delete them, or click through straight to the ticket. Push delivery is native to each platform: browser push on the Dashboard, native OS notifications on Desktop, and native mobile push on the App. Control what you receive (push, email, marketing email) from your notification preferences in Settings.
