What it does
Once configured, creating a ticket in Logtryl automatically creates a matching issue in Jira, and new comments on an already-synced ticket are mirrored there as Jira comments.
Sync is one-way
Nothing syncs back from Jira to Logtryl — Jira issue updates, comments, or status changes made in Jira itself don’t appear in Logtryl. There’s also no manual sync button or retry; if a sync fails, it's logged and surfaced as an in-app notice, but it won’t block you from creating the ticket or comment in Logtryl.
Setting it up
Configuration happens at three levels, and the project screen (on Dashboard, Desktop, and Mobile) shows the project key field either way:
- Account: a Jira toggle and your Jira base URL.
- Per user: your Jira email and an API token.
- Per project: the Jira project key tickets in that project should sync to.
