Attachments & Screen Recording
Available on the Web Dashboard, Desktop, and Mobile app.
Attaching files
On the Web Dashboard and Desktop, drag and drop a file onto a ticket or comment, or browse for one — images, video, audio, and documents are all supported, up to 20MB per file. On Mobile, pick a photo or video from your library, or attach any file type through the document picker.
Viewing attachments
Every attachment opens in a gallery built for its type: images zoom in, video and audio play inline, PDFs render in an inline viewer, and anything can be downloaded to your device.
Capturing a screenshot or recording (Web Dashboard and Desktop)
Attach a single screenshot, or record your full screen or a specific window as a video, directly from a ticket or comment — no separate screen-recording app needed.
Recording your screen on Mobile
Record your device’s screen from inside the app, with optional microphone audio, and attach the recording straight to a ticket.
Recording a bug in a different app
Attachments you capture yourself are only one way to bring technical detail into a ticket. The Mobile app can also pair with a separate app that has the Logtryl SDK built in, and remotely trigger a live debug recording — console output, network requests, and exceptions — while a tester reproduces a bug in it. See the Mobile App guide for how that works.
Recording a debug session on Desktop
Beyond screen recording, Desktop can capture a much more technical session — console output, network requests, and every click and keypress — either ad hoc with the standalone Debug Tool, or tied to a specific ticket via its Debug tab. See the Desktop App guide for how that works.
